I could probably together a team to better optimize a clear of this specific stage or there might be an easier stage that doesn't give up much xp, but regardless of how you shake it I don't think it's possible to cut the time enough to be comparable.įor 2* fodder unit, leveling them with penguins is going to waste 2x-4x as much XP as my previous farming did. The previous level I used to farm 2* fodder (Ep.2 10-S5) took me ~50 seconds per run on auto. It takes me ~4 mins for a single clear of Ep.3 8-10 with the EXP artifact. It costs me 5% more stamina per 3 fodder units If I run the latest Ep.3 story level for max XP gains. So, this penguin change is significantly more complex than this.įirst off, for 2* fodder this change is absolutely horrible for me. Given the above, the optimal exp farming strategy now is to use a sub-max level silver dog and a sub-max level gold dog alongside 2 max-level heroes. Edit: The bonus exp for having 3 fodder/1 hero still applies.Edit: As /u/Interceptor402 pointed out, when a unit levels up to max mid-stage, the rest of the exp they gain in that stage is not converted to penguin exp.I tested this separately yesterday and didn't bother including it in today's test.
